Reading Film

Reading films is a cine-club project that aims to create a bigger space for more Cambodian filmmakers to improve filmmaking capacity through film-watching reflection. Reading film concepts is like reading books which we spend time reading different categories of books. We see that spending time watching different films and reflecting on them are really important parts of film-making improvement.

The project conducts in the concept of co-hosting which means each cine-club may have different hosting from individuals or groups that work in different fields of filmmaking, different film interests, or different fields of activism and artivism. The selected film will be based on not only southeast Asian films but also some films outside the South East Asia region.
